Sumi is suffering in her marriage because of her husband's illness. She doesn’t leave him for the sake of her children. However, when she finds that her husband is having an affair with Lena, she loses her patience. She plans to kill her husband while he is sleeping, but the plan fails. Instead of actually killing him, she accidentally stabs him in the penis. At the end of the trial, their second baby dies, and it creates a lifetime of regret.
